Up until 2011 the VDX Operations Group was advisory to WAGUL on service level matters relating to the VDX Document Delivery System shared by Curtin University, Edith Cowan University, Murdoch University and the University of Western Australia including:

• The operation of a Service Level Agreement between the University of Western Australia Library, who host the VDX system, and the other WAGUL institutions
• Service level matters with OCLC Pica
• WAGUL VDX expenditure
• Software development and support
• Training requirements related to VDX
• Participation in the VDX Users Group in Australia and New Zealand

With the outsourcing of VDX to OCLC in 2010, the group ceased to meet and operational matters are now dealt with at the local level.

From 2011, AUSLG assumed responsibility for the contractual management of VDX.
